Don’t Fear The Plastic…
I’m always suspicious when I see plastic. (The phone mount on my motorcycle is metal, and rock-solid.) Well, I need not have worried. This Cupfone is everything I want. First, in addition to the different-sized cups, it came with a rubber “gasket” to slip around the cup you choose to ensure a rattle-free fit in your car’s holder. A very thoughtful touch! Next, the nut that tightens to hug my phone holds tight, and has never come loose on me. The phone stand on the back of my phonecase gets in the way of the entire phone sliding into the holder, so I have to remove it; not a problem because it’s magnetic. But sometimes I get lazy and leave the phone sticking up out of the holder higher than it’s intended to be–MY fault, not the product’s–but you know what…? It still holds my phone securely. Even top-heavy like this, the cup remains secure in my cup-holder. I got the extended arm, and that was well worth it to me because I have a very small car and I’d be bumping the Cupfone with my elbow if I didn’t have that arm to keep the phone out of my way and closer to my line of vision. My advice, get that extension even if you think you don’t need it, unless you’re absolutely certain you don’t. It will save you time and regret. All in all, a very good, functional product. A bit expensive for plastic, but I’m glad I have it. It’s not let me down.

Well made, Functional but expensive
We ordered this based on the reputation of products made by weather tech. It is well made and the actual aluminum knobs give the cupfone a well engineered premium feel. Those whom we have shared it with find it very attractive as well until we mention the price! Compared to ‘similar’ products, it approches almost twice the costs. If you are looking for a premium phone holder to give it as a gift, then you will be very happy. If you are looking for a less expensive (loss of a star) and simpler phone holder then keep looking. I will say that this holder is very good with lots of adjustability and it stays where you set it. You get what you pay for. For our part, we really like it and have no regrets as it is a premium application for a phone holder. There are many adjustments and the fit to you cupholder is snug due to the included ‘cups’ to accommodate to your car. And you likely know that you will lose a cup holder with any of these style phone hokders – just a reminder.

Perfect fit and adaptable. Didn’t really need the extension part, but bought it anyway.Bought a knockoff prior to this and it broke a year later. Hope the WT last longer.

Overpriced all high quality plastic
Revised review of previous information. I’ve got it installed and adjusted with ease. It works as advertised. But obviously WeatherTech has forgotten how to engineer a durable product for all users. Entirely made of high quality plastic. But durability is questionable for its extension bar and all adjustment knobs. These should have been entirely aluminum. The current product is obviously made for short people or others who may sit low in the driver seat. For tall people like myself or persons who sit with the driver’s seat in a high position, the highest that the phone can be placed is too low. Either by increasing the extension bar 4 in or by increasing the height of the plastic cups or a combination of both methods, the phone holder should be an additional 4 in higher. And for the price, this item is terribly overpriced at about $55 plus tax. As is, the Cupfone is worth a maximum of $25. And it certainly isn’t worth an extra 20 or more dollars to get knobs made from aluminum billet. The current price should at least include such knobs. The above deficiencies became so annoying, I tried a Miracase phone holder that outperformed by far the WeatherTech Cupfone. I returned the WeatherTech Cupfone to Amazon. I have kept the Miracase phone holder, which has highly satisfied me.

Weather tech cupfone review
My cupfone was made in the USA and it is just what I needed for hands free driving. Now, I can get calls and texts, and select the little YouTube videos that are on the home page without ever lifting or holding my phone. The cupfone has a height adjustment, tilt adjustment, and width adjustment making it work in all different positions with my phone. It has different sizes for cup holders from huge to medium down to small size cup holders. Itâs simple to set up you just gotta know how to read some instructions and they tell you everything. Donât force the cup holder to open or move if it doesnât want to, you gotta try to find the knobs to adjust it.

El soporte no merece la pena, mal anclaje para el teléfono, no se adapta. Hay que ajustarlo cada vez que lo usas. Solo merece la pena el sistema de vasos, para adaptarse al hueco en el vehÃculo. Además, se entregó por UPS. Que, al no encontrarme en mi domicilio, lo entrego a un punto de recogida que decidieron ellos sin contar con mi opinión y sin intentar una segunda entrega.
