This Bluetooth speaker fits the bill if you want one very small with surprisingly good audio
I own several dozen portable Bluetooth speakers, about 6 of which are tiny clip-on speakers like this one. I’ve found these small clip-on speakers to fall into 2 categories: 1) tinny sounding and weak audio 2) amazing, surprising, physics-defying solid audio reproduction with strong volume.Fortunately, this Xinborry speaker falls into the 2nd category… it’s one of those amazing speakers! This is my second Xinborry Bluetooth speaker. The other is much bigger, with a wood & fabric case and twin speakers. They share common traits of performing beyond expectation, while appearing attractive in a no-frills, serious way. There are no extra stylistic ornamentations, no “extra” features like flashlights and sirens that would draw resources away from providing great audio. The construction is solid and tight, with a sturdy plastic frame and metal speaker grille. The audio is of far better fidelity and much louder volume than the pretty nice audio I get from my Samsung S25 Ultra cellphone. So one use case is to set it alongside your cellphone for improved music streaming. For giggles, I played a jazz song by bassist Victor Wooten through this speaker. While it didn’t generate the type of soundwaves you can feel from larger speakers with dedicated woofers, this little speaker projected a decent representation musically of what the bass guitar was playing, loud enough to fill a small room without distortion. The IPX7 water resistance enables using this clip-on speaker outdoors where it might get splashed or rained upon. There are only 3 pushbuttons for easy and intuitive control: the middle button is to turn on/off the power. The other 2 buttons are for increasing or decreasing the volume. The Bluetooth 6.0 version of this speaker performed OK but not superior, in my UNFAIR stress test: I test my portable Bluetooth speakers by placing my cellphone by the front door of my home, and then walking the speaker toward the back of my home. With my best Bluetooth 5.2 and 5.3 speakers, I can walk all the way 54 feet to the back of my home, without the signal breaking up or distorting. With this Xinborry speaker, after about 15 feet of walking away from the cellphone, the signal breaks up while I’m moving, but when I stop, the signal returns solidly. And when I stop at the end of my home 54 feet away from the cellphone, the signal returns solidly! I give this speaker my highest recommendation.

Finally, one that’s better than my phone speaker
Look, I don’t ask for much from these very small wearable clip-on speakers. I just think that if I’m going to get one, it should be louder, or better sounding than my phone. Just one of those would be nice. After reviewing a number of them, this is the first one that sounds better than the phone.Clarity:This is about as clear as the iPhone 15 Pro speakers. Now, that’s not a knock on it. That’s actually a good thing. A number of wearable speakers that I’ve tried have been inferior in clarity to the phone speaker, and either slightly louder or not louder. This one is about as clear, which is pretty good for this little button of a speaker. Well done.Volume:Slightly, but noticeably louder than my phone speaker. So it has volume over the phone’s built-in speaker too. Now, those are the two reasons I’d get something like this over just using my phone, so it’s a winner for me. It’s a good value, because it actually delivers an improvement to my listening over using the phone. Hooray!Construction:It’s a good weight, and feels pretty dang solid. I don’t have any complaints here.Minor quibbles:There’s no cover over the USB-C charging port (also yay! USB-C! Everything should be in 2025, but here we are). That means debris can get in there and be an issue over time. Big deal? No. Annoying over time? Yes. Not knocking a star off for a problem that my very expensive smartphone also has though.I can actually recommend this as an improvement over the vanilla phone listening experience, with no gimmicks like an SOS or flashlight that detract from putting that cost into the sound quality. Good Job Xinborry.

Wearable sturdy rechargeable speaker that clips directly to clothing.
The Xinborry wearable speaker works well for listening to music. Is great because it eliminates the need to hold your phone or lay your phone down to play music over the speaker. Nice little speaker when sitting outside on our patio. No need to wear it, you can place on a table and still hear it. Personally I do not like using speakerphone on my phone for calls, not everyone wants to listen to your call. So although this would work great for those who use speakerphone I will use primarily for music while working in the yard or just sitting on the patio. It is a sturdy speaker that is rechargeable with included USB C cord. You can clip it to your clothes and it comes with a wrist cord that is secured to the speaker through the hole at the top of the speaker. The buttons on the side are hard to see because they blend in with the body, but there are only three and can be easily memorized so you don’t need to look at them every time. The speaker is a bit heavy for clipping to thin clothing like a regular T-shirt but definitely stays in place on thin or thicker clothing. It will just hang down a bit on thinner material. The instructions are clear and are found under the plastic packing in the box. As for the sound, it is clear except at higher volume when it begins to loose clarity. Overall works well.

    light weight, works well
So far this little guy works well. It is light weight and connects easily to our devices. My son clips it onto his collar and can jog with it duing XC practice and he and his friends can share the same music. Note: this is bluetooth so you will need to have a device nearby that can send the music to the speaker; he is able to use his watch, but if you have to have a phone nearby, this doesn’t offer too many advatages above just using the phone’s speaker to play the music.Additionally, one of the features that attracted us to this product is the IPX7 rating. I don’t know exactly the specs of this rating but I think anything X6 or above you can literaly drop in a pool of shallow water for a couple of seconds and retrive it with no damage. I am a bit skeptical about this (specifically the charging port area) but I assume it will be good enough to ward off an sweat or a light drizzle.
