   Ear bud All stars. Beware of ear wax.
   Ok so first off: I bought these used/refurbished/renewed.. whatever. They were in practically new condition based on its finish wear and tear wise, however idk how it escapes Amazon to NOT CLEAN THE EARWAX OFF THE EARBUDS from the previous user. In terms of professionalism I’d give them a 1 or if 5 in terms of professionalism. I saw the warnings about earwax on renewed earbuds in the reviews and here I am testifying like the rest. Get toothpicks, q tips, gloves and rubbing alcohol remove the foam tips. I cleaned my to perfection and plugged them in.In terms of technology these bad boys are awesome. The sound stage is comparable to the sennheiser momentum 2’s I have. You won’t be disappointed in terms of sound quality I promise you. There’s a wide variety of functions and features that wowed me, we’re not just talking about a custom equalizer and basic anc controls. Sony can test the buds for air tightness to make sure you have the right tips in, custom controls for automatic active noise cancelation and ambient noise settings when you start talking and resumes seconds after you stop. This is dope. I love this feature. I travel to nyc on the train for work and by far this is the best active noise cancelation I’ve ever experienced. I haven’t dipped into the 3D audio features they touted in the tutorial (they have you photograph your ears in app as a scanning tool to make sure the sound is tailored to your ears?) but I can’t imagine what sounds better than I’m listening to lol. There are settings that lean toward better sound quality versus Bluetooth connectivity quality. There’s more for you to find out I can’t list everything, but Sony has definitely outdone themselves.With that said, Battery life is fantastic even with anc and high quality settings. Hours and hours of music and the case to recharge obviously. Case Has a great reserve for recharging.The fit and finish is great. They look very attractive. Matte black and copper [chef’s kiss*]You’re good to wear these for a few hours before they start to get a little sore but not bad at all. So my renewed earbuds came with foam ear tips. I’m not sure if the previous owner bought them, but from my understanding they come with factory silicone tips. I recommend the foam tips. Way more comfortable.No comply sells them for 25 bucks. The sku for the item is 35-42334-11 on their website. Buy the asurion protection. It’s worth it. I needed it for my sennheiser momentum buds and they were fantastic in replacing it. Other than that, just go for it. I got mine for $150. Amazing price, you won’t be disappointed. Get used to reading lips lmao

   Huge disappointment due to battery issues
   I was looking forward to getting these Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds, as I currently own a couple of other Sony Bluetooth headsets with ANC (active noise canceling), and use them daily. I have the Sony WH-1000MX4 headset (purchased in March 2020 and still working perfectly) and the Sony WF-C700N earbuds (purchased in September 2023, also working flawlessly).After I got these WF-1000XM4 earbuds, I eagerly followed the recommended initial charging protocol of 3-4 hours.The left earbud charged to 100%, the right earbud only charged to 44%, and the case charged to 68%.I then used them for less than 30 minutes and got a low battery warning. I checked the Sony Headphones Connect app and found the left earbud was at 96% and the right earbud at 20%. Less than 5 minutes later, I received another low battery warning, and the right earbud was at 10%. A few minutes later the right earbud died, it performed an auto shutdown!I put them on to charge again, and nearly the same results occurred: the left earbud charged fully, the right earbud charged to 52%, and the case was at 65%. Once again after less than 30 minutes of use, the right earbud’s power ran out and it shut down. Yikes!!For someone who has preferred Sony ANC headsets for 5-6 years, this is incredibly disappointing. Especially given that the lower-end and cheaper model WF-C700N has never disappointed me and seems to have better sound and ANC quality, I’m really let down. I had read some negative review about this WF-1000XM4 earbud headset, but I am still amazed how Sony goofed with these. And they are described as “industry leading”? They need to be recalled.Given my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing these earbuds. The inconsistent charging and poor battery performance make them unreliable, especially compared to other Sony models that deliver better performance at a lower cost. Save your money and avoid this model, get the much cheaper, but reliable and true Sony WF-C700N earbuds instead.Sony needs to do better. This model is a dud.I have since gone thru the process to return this pair, I opted to receive a replacement unit, and I will update this review, hopefully positively, when I get the replacement pair.

   Excellent blue tooth earbuds
   My main reason for getting these earbuds was for noise cancellation and music. I wanted to be able to cut the lawn and listen to music. I have a John Deere S160 and when the mower deck is on, you can’t hear anything over it. Full “ear muff” headsets are uncomfortable to wear in hot weather and make it very difficult to wear a had for sun protection. I have tried other in ear devices, but without noise cancelling, you can’t hear the music over the mower.I got these and put some music on, started up the mower and engaged the mower deck and immediately couldn’t hear the music. I “tapped” the noise cancelling on and was amazed. I could still hear the deck, but only a little. The music came in loud and clear. I was totally pleased.In addition, the “tap” controls are great an allow me to control noise cancelling and playback with a simple tap of my finger.These are also great to use to talk on the phone. Nice hands free operation without having to turn the speaker on.I have not found earbuds that I consider comfortable, but these come close.The battery life is good. It takes me between 4 and 6 hours to cut the lawn. The battery will last almost the 6 hours and since I stop along the way to take a break, just a few minutes in the charging case insure that they will still be running when I am finished.

   Summary: I really liked these headphones, but ultimately I bought them to use for work conference calls, and the connection was never stable enough with my PC…either using native BT or a separate BT dongle. Had to sadly return.Pros:-excellent sound quality-battery life was fine for my use-great connection stability with my phone and multi-point that actually worked!!Cons:-they’re large…tough to fit in my ear-could not handle webex calls reliably, even with an updated BT adapter (used the Sennheiser one, not a generic)-noise cancellation was “ok”; didn’t filter out as well as others (Sennheiser MTW3, B&W PI2)

   Buen sonido lastima que sigue con el problema de la batería, después de 4 meses de uso vuelve a quedarse sin pila después de 2 canciones, el auricular derecho, compré dos veces estos audífonos pero ambos presentan el mismo problema
