  1. EverNoticeThat

HORRIBLE Video quality (nowhere near 720p) 3.6GB storage instead of 32GB AVOID!
I’m gonna get right to the point, DO NOT purchase the Domars AI Smart Glasses with 8MP 720p HD Video Camera! You have been warned. I ordered these more for their video recording and photo-taking abilities, rather than the AI features, as I wanted to be able to archive sharp video in case I needed it when out and about. But that’s not gonna happen…I’ll mention the good things first, before getting to the reasons you should avoid these glasses at all costs.(BTW, if you browse through my many reviews, you’ll see I rarely give many 3-star or lower reviews. But when I do, it is well deserved, as it is in this case, so buckle up!)Setup was easy and the battery charged quickly (even though they use the annoying magnetic charging using a special cable). The little round magnets on this proprietary cable ALWAYS work themselves loose over time, and when that happens (or if you lose the cable), you cannot charge your glasses. The audio produced by these glasses are outstanding. Audio is loud and clear, and the best I’ve seen in any pair of smart glasses I’ve ever owned. I had none of the issues with the app reported by other users, and was easily able to view test photos I’d taken with it.Connect the included cable to a USB port on your computer and the smart glasses show up as a USB drive that you can play or transfer your video, photos, and recorded audio from. So keep that in mind, as you won’t be able to do that with the app.The side touch button areas were responsive and worked well to control volume and select tracks, etc. The glasses were lightweight, with a slightly snug fit. And while I didn’t test the reported 12-hour battery life, they did seem to last much longer than any others I’ve tried. NOTE: I did not purchase these for their AI capabilities, but for their video and photo-taking. But after the horrible results obtained when trying to record videos and photos, I decided not to go further in testing those features. And that’s about that for the good things about these glasses…I must admit that I was shocked when I activated the camera to take my first test photos and videos. The Domar glasses are advertised as having a 720p HD video camera, but what I viewed had nowhere NEAR 720p video quality. The first photo was of my keyboard in a well-lit office. The results reminded me of photos taken with one of those old, cheap security cameras you might have bought 20 years ago. The color (as such) was washed out. The image was grainy and mottled with artifacts. It was so bad that I actually inspected the lens to see if there was some kind of plastic film covering it which might have explained the poor image quality. But there was none. This was what you got.Going outside in the bright sunshine produced similar results. The quality was simply horrible, and you could barely make out the digits on a car license plate due to the grainy and blotchy images no matter what time of day you took test shots in.Video was just as bad.It was like viewing an old VHS videotape from the 90s. Colors were completely washed out, with more of a sepia tone throughout. Artifacts swam throughout the video like digital tadpoles, and the complete lack of the reported “EIS” (electronic image stabilization), meant that you experienced every single step I took throughout the video.720p? NO WAY! Not even close. The video produced by the Domars AI Smart Glasses with 8MP 720p HD Video Camera, was simply unusable whether recorded during day or night.Did I say the video quality was horrible? I’ll say it again. it’s really bad. Don’t say you weren’t warned! Is it possible I got a bad pair? Who knows! I review the product as sent to me, and my loyalty is to you, the shopper, not to any manufacturer.Another reason I ordered these was the reported 32GB of onboard storage. However when I checked the drive space after taking my first test shots, it reported 44MB used, and 3.61GB available. The text at the top of the product page and in the ‘Memory & Storage’ area report a Memory Storage Capacity of 32 GB.That is simply not true. The glasses I received had a total of just over 3.61GB of total onboard storage, a far cry from the much more useful quantity of 32GB which does not exist. The 32GB storage amount is a lie. The 720p video resolution is a lie. the “EIS Algorithm’ reported in the marketing graphics does not exist. Walking down the street and recording video, makes for a herky-jerky experience due to the lack of any video stabilization. The right lens records video. The left “lens” is actually only an indicator light which comes on during video recording. A bright white light appears to let other parties know that they’re being Recorded which is fine for privacy issues. However there are times when you might want to turn that feature off.Imagine a woman walking to her car late at night and spotting suspicious characters in her path. She might want to activate video recording in case something happened. But the bright light coming out of the left “lens” area advertises that she’s wearing smart glasses, which might make her even more of a robbery target. There needs to be a way to tun this indicator off on occasion, but there isn’t (maybe cover it with something instead). However, the HORRIBLE photo and video quality of the Domars W600 AI Smart Glasses with 8MP 720p HD Video Camera, means you wouldn’t get much video detail anyway. I was so excited to get these smart glasses, but the resolution is so bad, and the misleading amount of storage and lack of video stabilization mean that I cannot recommend these glasses. You can do better elsewhere. Stay away from this product. You have been warned. NOT RECOMMENDED.

    Saved My Trip to Europe
Just got back from Europe, and these Domars glasses were a lifesaver! The 144-language real-time translation worked so well—ordered food, asked for directions, no more confusion. Took 8MP pics of landmarks, battery lasted all day walking around. Super stylish, got a few compliments too
