Customers say

Customers find the Oura Ring to be better than an Apple Watch, with highly accurate algorithmic monitoring for sleep and good activity tracking capabilities. Moreover, the ring receives positive feedback for its sleep quality features, with one customer noting it provides an eye-opening diagnostic review of sleep and activity levels. However, the functionality, value for money, battery life, and sizing receive mixed reviews – while some say it works well and is worth the money, others report it stops working altogether and consider it overpriced. Additionally, the sizing kit receives mixed feedback, with some finding it accurate while others report poor measurements.

    Amazing!
I love this ring! I purchased a few other knock off, cheap brands to save money but ultimately returned them because the tracking was completely off. This ring does everything. It accurately tracks my sleep (can also detect sleep apnea), oxygen levels, steps, knows when I take a nap, when I truly go to bed, when I do housework, measures my stress levels, heart rate, and after a month, it calibrates your overall heart health score, chronotype, and resiliency. It also picks up when you are sick. I felt horrible one day and it picked up that my body was fighting something. That blew me away. It charges quickly (about an hour for full charge) and I think I can go 3 or 4 days on a charge. The app isn’t free but it tracks so much with accuracy that it’s worth the money. I paid for the year which was $69 but you could do monthly for around $5. This ring really is worth the investment if health tracking is import to you. I highly recommend and so glad I finally broke down and purchased. Do t waste your money on other brands- they either don’t work or stop working after about few weeks.

    So functional!
I’ve had the Oura ring for a month now and I love it so much! I had wanted this ring since it first came out but could never afford it. Now that you can use your FSA/HSA, it is possible. Since I used mine, I went with my favorite color rose gold. The color itself is gorgeous but not a true rose gold. It’s more of a true gold. Doesn’t matter because it’s beautiful and so functional. I look forward to waking up and checking my stats on the app. It is so accurate too! I thought I was getting a bit sick one day and it told me to take it easy so it picked up on the changes within my body. The sleep tracking is what I mainly got the ring for. I have trouble tossing and turning all night and this ring picks up on my sleep cycles. It will give suggestions of when you should go to sleep to get a better night’s rest. It is pretty comfortable to sleep with as well. Doesn’t bother me at all.Choosing the right size of ring is very important. Since our fingers do tend to swell in our sleep and with the weather. I recommend sizing up. I usually wear a size 8 but with the sizing kit, I found I had to size up to a 9. Even when my finger has swelled, it’s not uncomfortable at least for me.I have seen a lot of people being put off on the monthly subscription. Although it would be nice not to have to pay for one, I don’t mind it.As far as the work out option, I haven’t gotten a chance to test it. I do feel it needs better options to choose from with the workout options they have. If it were more like the options on my Apple Watch, it would make it even better. I also feel the period tracking could be better. It’s very basic. Just lets you choose a start date and your flow. This is what I wish Oura could put more effort into tweaking on the app. Its period predictability is pretty spot on. But why should we have to use a separate app if we want to get a more detailed breakdown of our menstrual cycle?I know there are other competitors with more reasonable pricing but Oura really is the way to go. I was able to easily put in my order here and got it the next day! Don’t order through the Oura site though. I had an order on their site that was taking forever to get any updates on my order and as it turns out, they were so backed up because they were busy fulfilling their Amazon contract. So just cancelled with them and ordered here and it worked out. If you’re debating on getting one, just do it!

I like it better than the Apple Watch
I love the color while it’s not 100% scratch resistant. It does look good on your hand. You can’t see the scratches from far away. The qualities is great. It is a little thick, my friends call it a lug nut on my hand. But I do like all the information I get from the ring itself. Battery life is great you do have to pay a $6 membership for the ring if you want to use the app.

    Was great for 100 days
I have a watch that I use to track many things during the day, and it does well with those things, but for tracking sleep, it wasn’t very accurate. I developed curiosity to see what is happening with my sleep, so I bought this Oura ring. For the first 100 days, I would have rated it five stars. But, the ring became flaky, and it’s data is now far too flakey. Now is give it maybe two stars, at best. But, their customer service people are pretty decent to work with. They just haven’t been able to figure out what’s gone wrong with my ring. It’s now highly unreliable with sleep tracking. And now going through the rest of what it claims, has been… interesting. Before I explain, let me state clearly that I don’t expect the ring and watch to match one another. But of one says my heart rate is at 50, while the other says it’s at 150, and I manually check and it’s at 57, one of those two is wildly wrong.HRV, I don’t expect those to match. The watch has shown it as being 73 – 194ms, the entire day, with one instance of it dropping to 67. The Oura ring, otoh, has shown it in a range of below 20, up to about 40, with a couple of spikes up to about 60, all of it averaging out to 26ms. It’s not that they differ from one another, it’s that they differ radically. The Oura ring used to tell me that my cardio age was about 22 years younger than my physical age. Then I’m a matter of one night, it decided that my cardio age is only a couple of years younger than my physical age. So, supposedly, my cardiovascular system aged 20 years in one night, and remains stuck at that. But what about other signs of cardiovascular aging? No, it still puts my resting heart rate as down around 50, and my VO2max at 33 to 34.I won’t go into all of the details, but there’s been radical change in what the Oura ring reports. And the biggest issue for me is that it no longer performed well with sleep tracking. I can’t just go out and buy a new one. And I don’t know if the ring has developed an actual physical problem, or if a software update at some point started throwing everything way off. But, it’s pretty much useless to me at this point. It was awesome for the first hundred or so days. But that’s way too much money for something that performs well for 100 or so days, and then just goes off the rails. No, I can’t use the watch for sleep tracking. It now outperforms the ring, in terms of determining when I’m asleep or awake, but it doesn’t do so well with distinguishing which type of sleep. But keep in mind, I didn’t buy the watch for tracking sleep. Whereas I bought the Oura ring specifically for tracking sleep. And I’ve got to say, for that first hundred or so days, I was amazed by how well the Oura ring performed with tracking my sleep. There *are* some aspects of the ring that are still functioning, so I haven’t removed it yet. But for the function I bought it for, it’s now useless.

I cannot express how much I love my Oura Ring – it has genuinely transformed the way I understand my body, my health, and my daily rhythm. After months of considering various wearable wellness trackers, I finally chose the Oura Ring, and I am so glad I did. It’s elegant, discreet, incredibly intelligent, and unlike anything else on the market. From the moment I received it, the packaging and unboxing experience felt premium – the attention to detail, the minimalism, and the quality of the materials made it feel more like receiving a luxury piece of jewellery than a health tracker. I opted for the Heritage design in silver, and it’s truly beautiful – sleek, modern, and subtle enough to wear with anything, from gym gear to formalwear. But the real magic lies in what it does. The Oura Ring goes far beyond basic step counting and calorie burn. It offers a holistic, science-driven picture of your health, and its insights are deeply personalised. It tracks sleep with incredible accuracy – not just how long you sleep, but your sleep stages, heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, temperature trends, and respiratory rate. As someone who used to underestimate the importance of deep and REM sleep, this has been eye-opening. The sleep score helps me identify what’s helping or hindering my rest, from late-night screens to alcohol, and I now prioritise my wind-down routine because I can see the difference. Its readiness score is a game-changer. Rather than pushing you to work out every day, it guides you to tune into what your body actually needs. On days when my ring senses that my recovery is low or that I’m fighting something off, it suggests rest and gentle movement. On high readiness days, I feel confident in pushing myself further in workouts or productivity. It’s like having a silent coach on your finger who always knows how you’re doing – even when you don’t.One of the things I love most is the menstrual insights. I’ve never felt so in tune with my cycle – it predicts my period accurately and shows how my temperature and sleep shift across phases. This kind of cycle syncing helps me align workouts, productivity, and self-care to my natural hormonal rhythm. It’s empowering and refreshing to have that level of visibility without invasive apps or guesswork.Battery life is another standout feature. Unlike many wearables that need daily charging, I only need to charge the Oura Ring every 4–5 days, and the little charging dock is neat and travel-friendly.The app is intuitive, beautifully designed, and packed with information without being overwhelming. I check it every morning – not out of obsession, but because it genuinely helps me shape my day better. Whether I need to stretch more, rest more, hydrate, or move with intention, I have the data and insights to support those choices.Lastly, I appreciate that the Oura Ring is designed with privacy and longevity in mind. The company is transparent about data and constantly updating the app with useful features, like guided meditations, breathwork, and sleep audio tools. It feels like they genuinely care about their users’ long-term wellbeing. If you’re serious about understanding your body, improving your sleep, and making intentional choices around wellness and performance – all without wearing a bulky device – the Oura Ring is absolutely worth the investment. I can’t imagine life without it now.Highly, highly recommend.
