Worst way of inserting sim card…
If I could give less, I would. Doesn’t work. Horrible way of putting in a sim card. I finally get it in and turn it on and it asks me to put in sim card. Returning device!

Affordable 4G mobile hotspot/router
Great value, an easy to use well made 4G LTE wireless router with just the right amount of features. Just insert SIM card, connect to the WiFi, open up the web based management and configuration is fast and easy. Has some features that can come in handy, such as Guest network, Multiple SSID switch, MAC filtering etc. Only negatives for me is the charge port is micro-USB and not USB-c, only works on 2.4Ghz WiFi, not a problem for such an affordable little travel device.

Outdated but works well (KuWFi Mobile Hotspot Router Device)
Tested with a Google Fi Data SIM.Works well. Basically plug and play. There are configuration options that can be accessed by connecting to the device itself over WiFi but nothing needs adjusting in order for it to function. Changing the WiFi password would be prudent though.Inserting the SIM is a bit confusing. It takes a Micro SIM but Nano SIMs are the norm now. You can use a Nano SIM by using an adapter. Alternatively, positioning the Nano SIM such that there is a row of contacts between the card’s cut corner than the corresponding corner in the socket. See pictures for positioning. The card cover slides to lock in to place, or indeed unlock. Don’t force it open.There’s an SD card slot too; ignore that.Charging is via a Micro USB socket, cable included. (It’s 2024… why is Micro USB still a thing?) When charging it pulls 700mA at 5V and sporadically 200mA when operating.It does not power up automatically upon connecting power and cannot be used without a battery.

Nothing But Issues Since I Got This
So I thought this device was going to be super handy and helpful. Boy was I mistaken!This is supposed to be a portable hotspot device. It takes a SIM card and an SD card. I installed a micro-SIM card into the tray, & nothing happens, I’ve wiggled it 100 times in the SIM tray in hopes of the device actually detecting the SIM card is in the phone, but with no luck at all. I am not sure if its the SIM card itself is having issues or if it just the device itself. I am more inclined to lean towards that it’s the device no the SIM card. Not too happy

This Hotspot is functional!
The compact design and good battery life make it perfect for traveling. I was able to stay connected and productive throughout my trip. Is it easy to set up and portable. It’s fast and reliable, I liked it!

I canât figure it out
I canât rate this lower because maybe I am just not as intelligent as others who purchased this product. I attempted to set this up and the instructions did not make sense to me. I could not for the life of me get the card into it. The directions photos are needing some work. If you have used one of these in the past and know how they work you should be good to go. Being new to this type of product I unfortunately was lost and will be putting this into my drawer until I have more time to figure it out.
