A recent face-plant of my iPhone resulted in a catastrophic cracked front screen, despite being in a decent case, so I went looking for a strapped carry option.Like most people, I use my phone constantly, but I am also a shopper for Shipt/Instacart/DoorDash/Favor… Easy access, something secure, simple (to ensure I use it!) were critical.I’ll say I HATE things around my neck so I was surprised when I didn’t mind this lanyard. I chose it because of it’s width and I’m so happy that I did! I’ve been using it about a month now and I’m extremely pleased with my purchase.The strap is about 3/4″ wide and the length is adjustable. (As the Description says, it was designed to work as a cross-body.) I usually carry it to where the bottom of the phone hits at about my belly button. I find that from here, it carries well just hanging, or, I can sit it in the shopping cart tray facing me, so I can see the screen as I shop. In addition to reducing the risk of me dropping it, it has also minimized the risk of me leaving it on a shelf somewhere.The case portion is rubber that stretches over your phone case. Because it’s so snug, not sure it would work with something as thick and rugged as an Otterbox Defender, but in the slimmer options, it works very well. And the initial concern I had about the lobster clasp wearing through the eyelets… a thing of the past; they show no evidence of wear.Super nice that there are so many color options! Good product
Good product if you don’t like carrying your phone in your hand all the time. My phone is a Samsung and its quite large. The product did fit the phone w some stretching and I like it mostly because I can still use the phone while using it. great for photos with the placement of the rubber straps if your camera is in the middle. The only concern I have is that it most but break and the phonee would probably drop because my pho e is so tall and wide. ….but if I had a bit smaller one I wouldn’t be concerned at all.

Not a good fit for my phone.
Does not fit well over an iPhone 16 with case on. Rubber holder blocks camera. Fit is so tight the holder canât be moved out of the camera picture. Might work for me on those days I chase my phone all over the house but will have to remove the case for a secure fit.

Easy way to keep phone on me at work
I wanted a phone case with a strap but everything I found online was either too big or too expensive. I found this Gear Beast Universal Crossbody Cell Phone Lanyard and decided it was worth trying. I bought it so that I don’t always have to carry my phone in the back pocket of my jeans every day at work and also so that I can sometimes wear a dress or skirt to work where a back pocket is not possible. This product is perfect for me. I have a Samsung S8+ and I have an Otterbox defender case on my phone and the lanyard does fit it nicely. One of the rubber edges sometimes comes off once in a while but I think it’s because I may not always put it securely on the entire corner of my phone. I use my fingerprint to unlock my phone and I often have to slightly move one of the rubber edges to get my entire finger on my phone but that is really a minor issue. I’ve had the product for a month now and it’s holding up well. I would definitely recommend and would buy it again.

Suddenly Drops Phone
I own a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I bought this pretty purple phone lanyard and recieved it on Feb 21, and just over 1 month later on March 26th, my phone started falling out of the webbing. I didn’t even use it every day. I work 5 days a week and put my phone in my pants pocket without the webbing and I am too lazy to change clothes once I am off. When I am off, I wear dresses so I wear my phone around my neck. On Mar 26th, I am doing chores at home and my phone kept falling off the lanyard on to the ground. My back screen even managed to get chipped. Of course the final return date was Mar 23rd. I guess it was too stretched to hold my phone safely. I usually get a black Gear Beast lanyard that I replace every 4 months because the part that attaches to the neck strap breaks. But this purple one was really pretty.

Purchased this lanyard to see if it would keep me from dropping my phone, which I often carry around in the pocket of the wool men’s shirts I wear as my ‘at home’ clothing; but when I bend or stoop often the phone would fall out – hitting the floor, or my cat, and one time I didn’t notice where I’d lost it so had to call from my landline … and found it in the wastebasket! :)This was easy to put on the phone, was still able to use all its buttons, it didn’t – as I was at first afraid it might – cause the volume to go up (because of course it rested on the ‘up’ button), and it was comfortable to carry around.Good product, though I didn’t use it in the cross-body mode; be real handy that way, as the phone would be easy to reach and hands would be free to carry purse or grocery bag. Clever design!

I donât know what I ever did without one.It makes me feel so much more secure knowing that Iâm not taking my phone out and putting it back in my bag all the time while on the bus where I may drop it or lose it.My only criticism is that I canât use it with my Mophie Juice Pack. Maybe I should have bought one slightly bigger. I have a simple phone cover on it due to COVID so that I can just clean the back of my phone when I get home.Easy to use with a Pop Socket strategically placed.
