It’s compact, easy to carry, and works right out of the box.I’ve used it on road trips and family visits where Wi-Fi wasn’t available, and it consistently delivered solid 4G LTE speeds—often over 300 Mbps download in good conditions. My kids streamed and played online games without a hitch. It’s also great that you can insert your own SIM card or use their CloudSIM.That said, the data plans are on the expensive side, and speed can vary depending on your location.    Great for travel. used in multiple countries and always have gotten internet. Data not as fast as the top possible speed, best was about 30 download and 15 up but fast enough for most internet browsing. interface is easy to follow and setup is even easier

   Small, compact, and great for travel!
   This mobile hot spot was very easy to set up and is small and convenient to use. One thing that I immediately appreciated was that it was very convenient to join my phone to the WiFi network by way of a QR code that is displayed on the screen when prompted. That is nice instead of having to remember to look for the SSID and then copying down the password to join. Point your phone’s camera at the QR code and it joins right up with no issues. I have used my iPhone and my iPad to join this hotspot using the QR code and it is fast and easy.As other have pointed out it is limited to 4G speeds, but for most situations that is probably sufficient. It certainly is for me. One feature that didn’t occur to me right off was that this unit is not tied to any one carrier. It can connect to different cellular carriers, both in the US and abroad. It didn’t immediately dawn on me that this is a nice feature. My personal cellphone is on the T-Mobile network. As I am sure we all know in some areas, especially away from larger metropolitan areas one carrier can be more prevalent than others. I remember being in Eastern New Mexico a few years ago at a military installation. I couldn’t get a cellphone signal on my business phone at all. At the time the company I worked for used ATT. They said that other carriers worked, but AT&T did not. Being that it was a military installation, there are ZERO public WiFi hotspots, at least not where I was at. It was inconvenient to say the least to not have my phone while working every day.This device would be super handy in a situation like that, because it can use other cellular carriers to connect.I can think of other situations where it would be handy to have this device and that would be for international travel. I have been to many places in Europe and last year we went to Australia. For our personal cellphones we have the 2nd to the top tier of T-Mobile’s service. Because of that we do get, I believe 5GB of high speed data internationally, but after that it is like 2G speeds. I think it’s capped at like 256 Kbps. (Yes, that’s kilobits/second). Extremely slow to the point of almost being unusable. Of course, I can buy more data for my phone and use it as a hot spot, but it’s roughly the same price as international data is for this device. Plus, the drawback of being tied to the T-Mobile network and any cellular provider that works with T-Mobile abroad.I haven’t had this mobile hotspot too long and have not traveled yet, certainly not internationally, but it will definitely be making every trip with me from now on. One thing that I forgot to mention is that this is a pay-as-you-go system. There are no contracts, so if you don’t use it for a period of time there’s no money being spent on something not needed. When you know that you are going to need a WiFi hot spot then it’s a simple matter to buy a plan that meets your needs via the app.The app is a pretty handy way to interact with the device, although this hotspot does have a small touchscreen. When I activated it came with 10 GB of data (that is good over a 30-day period) and a 1 GB data package that is good for global use. The global package doesn’t expire for 1821 days from now (~ 5 years). That will be nice to be able to have the first 1 GB of data for free the next time I am overseas.I definitely recommend this device!

   Dieser mobile Hotspot war sehr einfach und selbst erklärend einzurichten und zu bedienen.Zudem ist das Produkt klein, handlich und leicht, so dass der Router bequem überall mit genommen werden kann.Die Begrenzung der 4G-Geschwindigkeiten ist für mich völlig ausreichend, hier benötige ich kein Erhöhung der Geschwindigkeit.Das Gerät ist an keinen Netzbetreiber gebunden. Es kann eine Verbindung zu verschiedenen Mobilfunkanbietern sowohl in Deutschland als auch im Ausland hergestellt werden. Dies finde ich sehr praktisch und für die heutige Zeit enorm wichtig.Dank der langen Akkulaufzeit konnte ich ihn den größten Teil des Tages laufen lassen, ohne ihn aufladen zu müssen, und dank des SIM-freien Designs war es einfach, bei Bedarf auf lokale Daten umzuschalten. Insgesamt war es ein zuverlässiger Reisebegleiter, den ich weiterempfehlen würde.Für mich ist dieses Gerät unersetzlich für unterwegs geworden.Ich kann eine Klare Kaurempfehlung ab geben.

   Worked very well on our trip to the Caribbean. Quickly picked up free wifi whenever available e.g. hotels, coffee shops etc. Bought a SIM card for it and was able to use as a hub for my other devices – laptop, iPhone, fire stick. Very stable. Only negative is it is not eSIM capable. But you can buy a plan directly from GlocalMe website.
