The Samsun Galaxy A10 I got from Amazon worked perfectly.
I was travelling on business when my phone partner broke his phone. I handed him mine and I bought what was probably a 10 year old Samsung Galaxy A10 for 39.00 from Amazom. I needed a phone. I arrived in a day or 2. The data said it was a Verizon phone. I received it, went to a Verison store and got a 1 month minimum data plan and for 90.00 total I was operational with a semi smart phone. Not being a techie myself this was a very satisfactory buy.

Good Quality
I’m not saying this is the best phone on the market, but it is a cheap smart phone with all of the same features other smart phones have.The only negatives that a person would have with this phone are it’s low camera quality (which is equal to the average smart phone camera from 5yrs ago) and small storage space. However, I simply bought this phone to replace an identical model that I broke; so I was already familiar with those aspects of the phone…One of which can be solved with the simple purchase of a SD card.The quality aspect I’m referring to is the condition of the phone upon arrival…which was perfect! It had no scratches, no cracks, the phone turned on easily, and it works perfectly. Using the smart switch app I was able to move all my data in under an hour, and Verizon recognized the phone as my new device. And as an additional bonus the phone arrived a week early (meaning I recieved it 1 day after purchase)!I believe in spending more when necessary, but for a device that people: lose with easy, break easily, rarely use as an actual phone, and primarily use to browse the internet when they’re 5sec attention span is desperate for a fix…it’s the obviously amount people should be spending on a phone.

No security updates – no longer supported
This entire review is simply a collection of my own opinions. No security updates available, an internet search said that Verizon doesn’t support this model anymore. I only thought to research that part when I went into the security updates section and it couldn’t download the new security software.I was trying to replace my Galaxy A03 cheaply. Big mistake. This phone will make and receive calls and text and has limited Internet on my phone. The Google tool bar with photo search option would not download. Also, some of my other apps wouldn’t download. I used a USB cable to transfer my files from one phone to the A01 but I couldn’t get all my files to move over. Also, after charging it to 97 ,% , it said I had 12 hours of battery time left. That was the deal breaker for me. I will save this phone as an emergency back up but otherwise I feel like I just wasted my money. I am now researching other phones. I like Samsung but I should have done more homework. I don’t intend to make the same mistake twice.
