Great backpacking/hiking accessory
Great little charger, good caliber clip and holds a charge well. No trouble taking this in carry on luggage.

More functions than most power banks, but there was an indeterminate problem with two of my devices
If it were not for the fact that I have two Type C devices (one compact LED flashlight and one LED headlamp) with which this charger simply did not work, I would have given this Vivilumens charger five stars. I tried it with three other Type C devices (two phones and a temperature probe), and it worked just fine. I have no explanation for why it would work with three devices and not the other two (which I double checked with my regular charger and they worked fine). The failure to work with the two devices I mentioned is an anomaly. If I hadn’t tried it with those, I wouldn’t even suspect that there might be a problem, and I would be 100% satisfied and favorably impressed with the Vivilumens. However, because of that issue, I couldn’t justify giving this device five stars. That mystery notwithstanding, there is much to like about this charger, and its additional features compared to most other chargers justify its somewhat higher-than-average price. Specifically, I like the following:1. There is a display showing the percentage of charge in the device, which shows that statistic when it is being charged and also when it is charging something else.2. The inclusion of a flashlight is important to me, because one of my uses for a power bank is to charge devices during a power outage, and at those times our regular house lights don’t work.3. The retractable cord is useful. However, note that the description used the word “feet” when it meant “inches.” The 65 cm is approximately 25.5 inches, not feet. That’s not misleading; it’s merely a typo.4. There is a “lightning” adapter included, so you can charge i-phones as well as Type C devices.5. For some people–for example campers who carry a backpack–the inclusion of a carabiner is useful. In all, I very much like this charger, and my only reservation has to do with the fact that it seemed to be incompatible with two of my five Type C devices.

A thoughtful well-made charger.
This charger turned out to be a really solid little power bank with some thoughtful extras. I love the clear percentage display, super handy to see exactly how much charge is left whether you’re powering it up or using it to charge something else. The built-in flashlight is great for power outages or camping, and the retractable cable is a nice touch. It also comes with a Lightning adapter and a carabiner, which adds to the overall convenience.I bought this for my wife who is constantly running out of power with her cell phone. I figured she could clip this inside her purse and have a little boost for when she’s running low on power. It fits perfectly and she had a loop ready made for the carabiner. It has enough capacity to be useful but is light enough to not be a burden. All in all, itâs a versatile, well-made charger, and Iâm really happy with it. Excellent value for money.

Could be better, but could definitely be worse!
This is a pretty decent little 10,000 mAh power bank with a few cool features. This has a 4.29 inch diameter. It has a pull-out/retractable charging cord that is 65cm (25.59 inches) long. The charging cord is USB-C but does come with an extra lightening connector for iPhone. It is pretty lightweight so it would be ready to take on a backpacking trip. The one cord is the one used to charge the power bank, as well as the one used to charge phones, etc.It has a little built in flashlight that is actually pretty bright. You short press the flashlight button once to turn on the flashlight and once for off. But it also has the cool and handy feature of doubling as an S.O.S. light. Instead of short press. You give it a long press. It comes with 2 little carabiners so you can hang it on your tent, or off your back pack, or wherever you need it.When you pull the charging cord out just a little there is a spot that lights up and tells you what percentage of power it has left. The reasons for the 4 stars though… â¢You need to have a charger block end that has a usb-c space. It doesn’t come with one, so if you don’t already have one, you’ll have to buy one.â¢It could be just error, or not. But sometimes it doesn’t seem to keep charging the phone. Like it just stops. So then I unplug it, retract it, pull it back out, plug it back in and then it seems to work fine. So I don’t know with that part. But all in all, it’s not too bad. Not as good as some, but way better than others.

Retractable power cord
This rugged portable power bank is great to have clipped on your backpack or bag. Great rugged body, perfect for being on the go, even hiking or camping. There’s a handy little flashlight option. Not super bright, but it’s there.I appreciate that the cord is attached and retractable. Type C. There’s LCD display to show how much juice the battery has. It charges my phone quite quick. I can get a full charge and then some with this one.I like the carabiner clip. It’s durable and handy. It hangs on my work backpack and stays put. This is a nice, compact, durable, sleek, functional power block. I recommend it.
